Becky Williams is a 2020 graduate of Purvis High School, where she was the Star
Student of her senior class. She was a 4-year member of the PHS Dazzlers dance
team, serving as captain her junior and senior years. The Dazzlers were State
Champions her freshman and junior years. She was a member of the Pride of Purvis
Marching Band and the Purvis Women's Club Juniorettes.  Becky also served as junior and senior class vice president. 

She is a 2023 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a
Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, MDSC. She was a member of the MSU
dance team for all 4 years of her undergraduate studies, and was the only MSU
recipient of the E. Lynn Harris All SEC Spirit team award, which recognizes student
athletes' achievements on the field and in the classroom. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from MSU.

Her community service initiative, Make A Move, is used to empower and educate
Americans on the power of meaningful movement. During her year as Miss Mississippi, Becky hopes to prioritize the future generations of Mississippi through her school tour.

She plans to travel the state of Mississippi to promote the message of how simple it can be to incorporate exercise into the everyday lives of Mississippians and Americans alike, as well as to promote the scholarship opportunities and life skills provided by the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen Organizations.
